Powerful drive

The Audi SQ8 is powered by a 4.0 litre TDI engine (combined fuel consumption*: 7.8 l/100 km; combined CO₂ emissions*: 205-204 g/km). The twin-turbo V8 engine produces 320 kW (435 hp) and generates a maximum torque of 900 Newton metres. A standard electrically-driven compressor supports the turbocharger, therefore ensuring a particularly good starting performance and homogeneous power development over the entire engine speed range. The acceleration time of the vehicle from 0 to 100 km/h is 4.8 seconds, and the maximum speed is regulated at 250 km/h. The likewise standard 48-volt mild-hybrid system reduces fuel consumption through energy recovery and a situation-dependent shutdown of the engine while driving - the "sailing mode".

Background assistance

Benefit from the aid of driver assistance systems⁵ when driving in the Audi SQ8. Optional pre-configured packages are available in addition to individual functions. The largest package on offer is the assistance package Plus, which combines the three tour, city and parking assistance packages. Included is, for example, the Adaptive Driving Assistant, which assists you in accelerating, braking, holding the speed and maintaining distance. The exit warning can detect road users approaching from behind. If a critical situation is classified, the warning bar in the door and the LED indicator on the exterior mirror will light up. In addition, the door opening mechanism is briefly delayed.

Brightly lit

The Audi SQ8 is equipped with LED headlamps as standard, which ensure illumination similar to daylight and therefore greater safety. Optionally, you can also opt for the Matrix LED headlights with dynamic lighting and dynamic indicating light. The progressive design fits into the sporty look of the Audi SQ8, and the innovative technology illuminates the roadway precisely without blinding other road users. The dynamic light presentation and the dynamic indicator light offer a high recognition value.
