Every detail of the Audi Q5 features the characteristic Q design and embodies momentum and superiority. This includes the distinctive bonnet and the gently sloping roof line as well as the outer mirrors mounted onto the shoulder and the narrow window line.
Sporty and streamlined – this is the look of the Audi Q5
The Audi Q5: sporty and streamlined. A preformed single-frame grille with a solid frame dominates the aerodynamically flat front. A distinctively curved and strongly undercut shoulder line divides the side view. The strongly defined wheel arches indicate the permanent all-wheel drive quattro, and the flat roof structure extends downwards. The horizontal lines on the rear also give the impression of width and presence. The rear lights are optionally available with dynamic turn signals. The tailgate encompasses the C-pillar – a typical feature of the Q models from Audi. A diffuser insert integrates the exhaust tailpipes.
The new Q5 and its predecessor
Although the body has grown in size, it has become lighter.
4.66 m long, 1.89 m wide, 1.66 m high, and a 2.82 m wheel base – compared to its predecessor, the Audi Q5 has increased in almost all dimensions. At the same, the tare weight has decreased by up to 90 kg depending on the engine. The body is an intelligent mix of high-tensile steel and aluminium.
When it comes to aerodynamics, the Audi Q5 is also at the top of its class. Thanks to the aerodynamically optimised roof, the four-cylinder versions can achieve a drag coefficient of 0.30. The Audi Q5 currently features the best interior acoustics in its class; the wind noise is exceptionally low, and the vibration comfort is high.

A variety of options – the versions of the Audi Q5
For the first time, the Audi Q5 will be offered in various versions. Choose from sport and design as well as the optional S line sports package, the design selection, and the S line exterior package. These variations influence the appearance. The design line features grey contrasting attachments that emphasise the robust character of the SUV, whilst the sport version of the Audi Q5 features a complete paint finish.
