A total of five engines are available for the Audi A3 Cabriolet, including two TFSI® and two TDI® engines. The direct-injection units with turbochargers offer powerful performance together with superior efficiency.
Intelligent TFSI® technology combines the advantages of economical and efficient FSI® technology with those of a turbocharger. This means more propulsive power, lower fuel consumption.
The 1.8 TFSI® engine delivering 118 kW (160 bhp) accelerates the Audi A3 Cabriolet from 0 to 100 km/h in only 8.0 seconds*. The 2.0 TFSI® engine delivering 147 kW (200 bhp) achieves the same feat in a mere 7.3 seconds*. And with a maximum torque of 250 and 280 Nm respectively, a sporty driving experience is guaranteed.
Consumption figures and emission values:
Fuel consumption, combined: 6.7-7.4 l/100 km
CO2 emissions, combined: 156-171 g/km
The highly efficient TDI® engines in the Audi A3 Cabriolet provide agile, spontaneous and efficient motoring. For every 100 fun-filled kilometres, the 1.6 TDI with an output of 77 kW (105 bhp) consumes just 4.3 litres of fuel (combined), thanks to its common rail technology and ultra-modern piezo injectors. The most powerful diesel engine – that of the Audi A3 Cabriolet 2.0 TDI – also operates with state-of-the-art piezo injectors and a common rail system. With an output of 103 kW (140 bhp), the 2.0 TDI accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.7 seconds and achieves an impressive fuel consumption of 5.3 litres (combined) per 100 kilometres.
